High Waisted Supershort™ - Black

These are a go to for me, they’re so soft & comfy! They cover your booty but are still cute looking. The sizing is true to size. I have in buttercream (which isn’t see through!) & lavender. Both colors are really pretty in person!

I have a few pairs of running shorts already but these are the most flattering ones. The oasis shade is beautiful. Sadly the waist is a little big on me, I tend to buy size S in bottoms but I'm gonna have to size down in these.

I like these shorts and decided to keep them, but I just want to emphasize some points that I read in the reviews before buying the shorts:
1. Yes, they will ride up. I thought that maybe they wouldn't, but they do. I do HIIT workouts and had to pull them down multiple times when running.
2. Yes, they are pretty short: by the time the shorts had fully ridden up my whole thighs were exposed. If you like that, then this is your sign to get the shorts! But I don't, so I don't think I will be wearing them for high impact workouts anymore.
3. Yes, they are soft and comfortable. I really like the fabric and think that the inner shorts are very soft, and the outer fabric very stretchy, just as advertised.
4. No, they are not anti-camel toe. But you know, you can't tell cuz of the outer shorts so it's fine.
So in conclusion, Cassey, you were onto something. I just think that leg grips on the bottom rim of the inner shorts or something would be very beneficial. And if anyone read my full review: keep in mind that this is my opinion! If you are a true medium, 5'8", have an hourglass shaped body with thick thighs, my review might be more applicable to you. But do what you want! Just feel cute while doing it.

The good: super cute, I love that the liner is a short and not a brief, and the leg pockets are amazing. HOWEVER, the durability of the shorts was super disappointing. We've finally got spring weather, so I put them for the first time today for a run along with my run belt, and they got utterly destroyed ): The waistband and top of the short got super pilled (see photos). My running belt does not have any velcro or zippers on the inside that cause inordinate amounts of rubbing - in fact, I've been wearing this same running belt with other brands of running shorts for YEARS without any issues. I'd expect a pair of shorts that is frequently advertised as for running to be compatible with very common running accessories without coming back in shreds after 1 run. Sadly, my corset bra in digital lavender met a similar fate on this run. Super bummed, especially since I bought 4 pairs of these shorts for this summer running season.

Have all the colors! Functional, beautiful, and when these new spring colors dropped I had to have them! Now if we can get those sapphire and Iris colors......*wink wink* I ordered a M and they fit like a dream!
